2009 Young Artist Concerto Competition The Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce the winners of our Ninth Annual Young Artist Concerto Competition held January 10, 2009 in Missouri City. The Grand Prize Winner is Benjamin Zannoni (Viola) of Houston. Benjamin Zannoni featured guest artist at “In a Latin Mood,” a concert full of the fascinating rhythms and melodies of Latin America. Mr. Zannoni performed the first movement of the Viola Concerto by Carl Stamitz. The Runners Up are Christopher Henselman (Piano) of Austin; Erik Wheeler (Cello) of Houston; and Liana Wang (Piano) of Houston. |
