Robin Harrison, Canadian pianist, will join the Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra for a pair of performances this February. Mr. Harrison, a well-known artist across Canada, the United States, and throughout the world, will play Mozart’s Piano Concerto no. 24, K. 491 in c minor, as we celebrate the 250th year of Mozart’s birth. The Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra played to a packed house Saturday night, June 5, providing music for the annual fundraiser, “An Evening of Wine and Music” hosted by the Literacy Council of Fort Bend County at the George Memorial Library in Richmond.

Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra Conductor, Dr. John Antonio Ricarte, will step into the spotlight in Satu-Mare, Romania June 16, 2005 in a very rare engagement as guest conductor of the Satu-Mare State Symphony Orchestra. "This is a fantastic opportunity to conduct a professional orchestra and to work on great music with a talented group of musicians from another country."

Richmond, TX – The Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra will give a special, free performance to students at Juan Seguin Elementary School, 605 Mabel Street, in Richmond on Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. The Fort Bend Symphony has a mission to ensure that every child in Fort Bend County is touched by classical music before graduating high school. The program will offer a close-up look at the instruments of a symphony orchestra and the musicians who play them. Students are encouraged to bring their families and friends to this concert.

Join us at Fuddruckers and help support Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra. Fuddruckers will donate on Thursday night 10% of the proceeds between 5 pm–10 pm.
